I'm sorry to hear about your job being outsourced. Depending on your situation, you might want to look into TranscribeMe! They have different types of transcription work, including medical transcription. I'm in the medical coding course now but have never done medical transcription, so I'm not sure if the pay rates/or jobs they have are similar to what you've done but it might be worth a shot to look into it.
