I thought I read somewhere there are 80 sections total in Med Coding program. Is that true because I can't find where I read that. I just started and wanted to count down as I went.
We broke it up into 80 "lessons" when we were required to do that. However, it was meaningless really because we're constantly changing the "lessons" and "sections" and "modules" so that they are never the same one season to the next. That's why a student who drops and comes back 2 years later won't recognize anything and has to start all over from the beginning.
I think there must be a better 'check-off' system than the 80 lessons to do your count down.
Peggy or Glenda or maybe Peggy AND Glenda will have better ideas. Some of our current students graduates may have comee up with something. We know we could check off by MODULES - but we want something smaller. How do you eat an elephant? One...Bite...At...A...Time. THAT kind of small, right?
Or to put it another way,
A journey of 1000 miles begins with a single step.
THAT kind of small measurable performance.
