Yay, YOU!!! {{{celebration dance here}}}
Congrats you two!
Way to go!!!
Congratulations, Kamala and Beth!!
Thanks everybody! It was a big relief.
I have an odd question though; we sat the ICD-10 CPC exam and yet, when I log into the AAPC website, it says I have to prove my ICD-10 proficiency by the end of February. Say wha-?
That shouldn't be! You should definitely call or e-mail them!
That Prove your ICD-10 proficiency, could that have nothing to do with you but is intended for people who are already coders, perhaps in ICD-9, and they have to prove their proficiency? I've seen something like that in some of their ads and I just figured it was for coders who need to update to the -10.

Congratulations! Way to go!
Not only did you pass, but you have a fabulous opportunity to get to know your professional organization better. I think they probably just forgot to turn off their whatever-it-was that notified newly credentialed individuals that they needed to take the ICD-10 proficiency test.
Give them a little call and ask about it. I'm 99.999% sure it will be as much of a surprise to them as it was to you.
Congratulations ladies
I'll definitely do this. When I go and verify my credentials, it also says that I am not ICD-10 certified and I certainly don't want prospective employers to be thinking that is the case.
Congratulations, Kamala & Beth!
