Does anyone have any tips on how to stay organized ? Should I start a binder of material? How did you keep everything organized? As far as course work . I need some tips
Thanks :)
I have a binder with separate tabs. I have a section where I put the syllabus, any reviews, copies of the practice transcriptions, and assessments. I also have the grading scale and the list of points deducted for mistakes. All sheets are in page protectors. It helps me keep everything in one spot!
Ashley, I have 1 binder for each Module. I have page dividers for each section or chapter/ deadline. I printed out the syllabus and any printouts and organized them within the divider pages. This worked well for me with Module 1 and Module 2. I really don't know how it will work for Module 3 and Module 4 but organization is key to avoid chaos! I'm sure you will get other suggestions!!! Good luck developing the style that will work for you!
I have not used a binder, but I do have everything in a folder on my laptop. I saved all of the documents they want us to read, instructions, etc.
As far as the books, I bought some color post-it tabs off Amazon to color tab certain sections for quick reference. These are the smaller, quick grab tabs that are no bigger than your finger. They are easily removed too, if you should ever need to.
Also, Glenda mentioned the Bible highlighters, which I find to be of great use in highlighting areas across all books! I purchased the ACCU-Gel (Bible) Highlighters off Amazon in a pack of six colors. They don't bleed through the pages, which I love.
Regarding any formulas or information I KNOW I'll need, I write it in a college ruled subject notebook. It helps keep the info together and also helps me learn by writing it.
Hope this helps. =)
