Hello!
In module 1 section 4 written in the Readings: module 1 exam instructions, it states near the end: You should add each exam's results to your final exam as soon as you receive your grade, before you move on to the next exam or section. If you are unable to immediately add any errors to your final exam, you can come back to this review page at any time by selecting that exam on the Module I page again, then clicking "Review."
I cannot figure out how to do this. I have clicked on the reviews for each exam and still cannot find out how to add your errors to the final exam. Anyone?
You have to type your answers that you missed from each coding test you take. There is a specific format that you have to follow. If you go to Section 5, there is a document for you to read that explains it all.
Hope that helps.
Rhonda
Thank you Rhonda! I will look at that
What module are you in?
I just finished Module I last night. It took me longer than planned because of work and home life, a little over 4 months. Waiting to see when I will get my Module II information to get started.
Good for you!! What were you doing with your life before this, if I may ask? I am an RN.
Well I am currently an EHR Informaticist. I have worked at the hospital here for 20 years this past July. I started in the Lab as the Phlebotomist, Worked as a CNA on the floor, then went to the Outpatient Department as the Administrative Staff Supervisor. I transferred into the Information Technology Department 10 years ago as a System Analyst and have recently transitioned into my current role.
My husband will be retiring in about 18 months and we have been looking at moving in a couple of years to Washington State. When that happens, I would like to be able to work from home. Thats where the coding comes in. So far, I think I like it. Only time will tell.
An RN, whats made you go into the field of coding?
Well that is an impressive history! I have been a nurse for 29 years and I just cannot take it anymore
I need a change. I do operating room nursing, a long time ago I did open heart critical care. I just don't think I can do this for the rest of my life.....
It is very hard on the body too.
I wish you the best, sounds like a great plan!
I am having the same problem? Well sort of, i know there is no add button but what exaclty should i copy and paste to add into the final exam text? Also states even if we get 100 to show that as well? So if someone can show me an example of what my text box should look like when i submit it.
Thanks
Hi Erica,
I assume you are in Module I. There are directions provided for the final exam as explained above. There are also examples. You are not cutting and pasting, you are actually taking the questions that you got wrong on the coding test and following the example provided state the answer you chose, the correct answer and what you missed that led you to the wrong answer and/or what you can do next time so the same error does not happen again.
If you get 100% on a coding test for the final exam you can just list that exam and note 100%. I am in module II now so I am thinking back to what I did for the final exam in module I.
Oh, I almost forgot. You can made a file with your current books listed at the top and as you complete each coding exam add your questions that you got wrong and then follow the procedure as above to explain your errors. Then when you are all done module I, you can paste this into the final exam section online and turn it in.
I hope this helps you.
