I wanted to introduce myself and say hello to my fellow coding students. I received my user name and password today, so it's official!! This is the second time I have been a student at The Andrews School. About 10 years ago I graduated from The Andrews School transciption program and have been working in that field since then, first as an MT, then the last several years in QA. For the last few years I have been thinking about going to coding school, and this is the year I decided to go for it. I have known all along if I did take a coding course, I would take it here, as The Andrews School prepared me so well to be a medical transcriptionist. I just wanted to say hello, and I am looking forward to "meeting" some of you. Jean
Hello from a new coding student
Congratulations on taking the plunge into coding! You are in for a ride that's for sure, but it's a good ride! :) For me, it's just so much more interesting than transcription. You will learn so much! It's nice to have the brain engaged. Good luck to you! :)
Welcome Jean!! Andrews is certainly a great school!! Good luck to you in the coming year!!
Hey there! Kristi here, module III. Enjoyed hearing about your past experience with Andrews.
Hi Jean and welcome (back) to Andrews! I am one of the many students named Debbie and I'm in Module III. Enjoy your studies!
Welcome back, Jean! Be sure to let me know if you have any questions.
I am also an MT and have done QA for several years. I did not have the training of The Andrews School for transcription; I did it on my own and will confess that I still lack speed skills as an MT....but I do okay with QA. I am in Module III (which I cannot believe I am even saying that - whoo hoo) and I love it. I cannot wait to learn something every day. Even when I miss something on my exams, I get excited from what I learned from that error. Although there are times I made errors from just not paying attention....but then I learn to PAY ATTENTION TO EVERY WORD OF THE QUESTION on the test and homework.
Good luck! Everyone is so nice and helpful. It is hard....but you are gonna love it!
Thank you, everyone, for the nice messages. It is early on for me, i.e., I just started Module I about a week ago, but I am so enjoying learning again.
Hello Jean! I'm in Module II. Welcome back, and good luck to you!
