Medical Language

Hello .. This is my first post, I hope I’m in the right spot .. I’m very overwhelmed with Medical Language. I’m not retaining most of what I’m reading. It’s literally like reading a foreign language combined with English. By the time I get to my end of chapter exercises, I’m looking back through the chapter to answer the questions and when I complete the exercise I can’t even more of the chapter it seems.

I’m not having many problems with the coding, but the medical language book is frustrating and it  is worrying me that I’m in over my head .. is this common?

I feel the same way. I come from no medical background, so it is learning a new language. I was told we do not have to worry about memorizing all these new words and that the more we do, the more we will become familiar with the terminology. I am finding this to be true. Hang in there. Not sure how far you are, but I promise, some of it does stick, even if you don't think it is.
