I am a member of a lot of billing and coding sites.  Most are fairly useful.  I thought everyone would like to read a post I found on one of them today.  Someone was asking what the CIC certification exam was like and someone answered and stated there are a lot of fill in the blank answers.  Remember how Linda keeps telling us you will know how to code?  The test didn't sound that bad to me and I'm just in module one.  I actually enjoy entering my own answers and seeing how close or far away from the correct answer I am.  It tells me where I need to work harder.  Here is the reply from the person asking the question:  " I don't know how I would do with fill-in??? I'm use to multiple choice and figuring it out from there.. However! Do both exams certification are equal in standings in the industry?"
