Sandra, notes in any of your code books should be fairly minimal, specifically because of the CCS exam.  The examiners will be looking to make sure you don't have too many notes, not that you have enough!  Some testing centers are very strict about that, so your notes should be very discreet.  This is why except for a few cases in the first two modules where we recommend adding specific notes, we suggest you not add any to your books until Module III or later.  By then, you'll have a much better handle on what notes will be most helpful to you personally because you regularly miss the pertinent instructions in your code book and need to add a reminder by the code itself, or information that you know you tend to get mixed up and won't be able to look up during the exam otherwise.
