Medical coders are into analyzing, organizing, and prioritizing, but sometimes medical coding STUDENTS need some help in those areas.

•Do any of these JUMP out at you?
•Are you willing to do what needs to be done to analyze, organize, and prioritize so you can achieve your goals?

Choosing inappropriate or unreasonable goals

Disorganization – Where do you keep your books anyway?!

Distractions

Doing busy work to avoid accomplishing goals

Environment not conducive to work

Failure to prioritize

Getting a late start to your day

Haphazard planning or scheduling of your work

Multitasking – and not in a good way

Need to set a routine with barriers and boundaries

Not being motivated to do the work required to accomplish goals

Not setting apart a time to do your work because it really isn’t a priority

Procrastination

Uncomfortable working space
