by Linda Andrews - Glenda, our beloved and cherished Student Coordinator has been at the school for 18 years. She knows a thing or two about the Andrews program, our students, graduates, and instructors. Glenda and I were talking today about how much our instructors really care about the students.
This is not a situation where you are talking to a person masquerading as an instructor, reading a script to answer questions. Seriously, that happens elsewhere so you can get instant answers. We don't do instant answers. Our instructors look at your questions and research the answers if necessary, but the answer you get is YOUR answer, the answer meant for you. Now sometimes they give you 'guidance' so you can learn from the struggle of figuring it out on your own, for your benefit. It would be easier to just always give an answer off an answer sheet. We don't do much of that.
I'm so glad we have instructors who are passionate about what they do. We care about your success. Keep communications going with your instructors, through Glenda's office.
