I wonder how many students have this same affliction. I'm currently studying hematology and immunology and now I visualize those white blood cells attacking the foreign bodies.....from the 1966 movie "Fantastic Voyage". I now realize that at about age 11 I had already travelled through the heart, past valves and faced those killer white blood cells.
I got my first medical training for 5 cents a day, to see 20-minute segments of movies in an auditorium during lunch break. The visuals while I try to study can be a bit distracting!
Heheheh, only you, brother dear. Only you.
Yes! I'm glad I'm not the only one! It actually helps me to remember it better when I can visualize it, though. :-)
It kind of reminds me of when the pharmaceutical reps would bring in lunch for all of us, with a video or presentation to go with it. We were used to all of the topics, so it worked fine. It didn't slow our appetite. If someone hadn't been involved in all those procedures though, they would have thought it really strange eating lunch along with it.
