Congratulations, Pam!
Thank you so much, Linda, and Debby, and Glenda, and all. I've attained the unique distinction, I suspect, of being the slowest Andrews coding student EVAR -- and yes, you may interpret "slowest" in all of its possible meanings.
... Through most of the course I've worked two jobs and held both family and sanity together with duct tape and baling wire--so it's a doubly-great feeling to have completed the course... even though I think I also had the honor, at least for Module IV, of single-handedly holding down the left side of the school's bell curve. =)
I'm focused like a laser beam on moving into coding at the hospital where I work... they're a strictly AHIMA shop, so alas... the CCS looms, like the Four Horsemen, in my future. But for now, I'm taking a few "mental health" weeks off. Cheers, y'all!
It must be a great feeling to finally be finished! Sounds like you have a very full life, so you deserve the mental health break. :-) Best wishes for your future!
Your message put a giant grin on my face. I think I see a secondary career in creative writing.
Keep me advised about how things are moving forward on that hospital coding job. Sometimes our graduates forget to let us know about the credentials exams and/or new jobs. I'll sound like Elvis here: I want to know, I need to know. I'd LOVE to know,,,with all my hear....ar...art. Creative writing back at ya.
Enjoy your rest in the meantime!
