Lauren, I do know that Marie and Susan have both taken the CPC exam. Both passed. I don't think any of them have taken the CCS yet, but that's probably next!  :)

I'm so excited and really looking forward to gaining this new knowledge and starting my new career.

I really like this forum because it shows the true merit of this program and this profession. When you read things on Google and Facebook, there is a level of uncertainty in the access to coding jobs as a new graduate. However, I know there is more to obtaining a position than just certifications alone, so I am stil optimistic that I'll have what it takes when it comes to that point.

It makes me feel even more hopeful to see all the posts of the other students' successes here. I know I chose the right school and I haven't even really started yet! :)

I took the CPC once and did not pass by just a few points.  I am going to concentrate on practice exams and follow all the other good advice on this forum and try again in a couple of months.  I feel very positive about taking and passing it next time.  I did not give myself enough time to properly study last time.

I just wanted to say I am glad I made it through the coding course.  It was certainly challenging.  I really appreciate all of Instructor Debby's guidance throughout the course.  I am looking forward to the ICD 10 transition course.

I'm sure you'll get it this time, Sharon! Like you explained, you learned from any mistakes you may have made and have a great game plan now. Best of luck to you! Let us know how it goes :)
