I found this article in today's Wall Street Journal fascinating. There seem to be many opportunties for growth and improvement in health information management which will involve coding and electronic medical records. I don't think I've come across those skills being used in quite this way yet. What do you all think of this service?

Very interesting article. It sounds like a wonderful service for those who can afford it. I have my doubts, however, about it becoming a prevalent service in the future, even at lower costs. It just goes to show that the healthcare field will be thriving and ever changing for a very, very long time - which is great news for all of us!
The concept of the service is interesting, but the observations about our current healthcare system were fascinating. I found myself wondering how the company is collecting data. My hypothesis is that they are using at least some medical coding, even in this business model. At the very least, medical coding might be used to extrapolate data for comparison, to justify the claims of higher quality care for patients, and for their proprietary algorithms?
Thank you for responding, Sarah, and I think that you are absolutely right!
