I want to congratulate Andrews graduate Janet U for passing her CCS exam yesterday. I am bursting with pride almost as if I had been sitting there taking that very difficult test with her, which I wasn't and can't take any credit for. Well done, Janet! You worked incredibly hard in the course under almost insurmountable personal challenges thrown at you, got your CPC, got your job, and now got your CCS. Very Well Done!
YAY! Congratulations!! I am just starting out, but I hope I will be following in your footsteps! :)
Congratulations. I am also just starting but look forward to being where you are soon.
Congratulations, Janet!!
Congratulations, Janet!! You are an inspiration to me to keep going! :)
Congratulations, Janet!!!!!
I knew you could do it!! :)
Thank you everyone!! I graduated over a year ago, and then the CCS was canceled!! I wanted to give up, but dug in and applied for outpatient positions since the CCS wasn't available. I was very fortunate and found a wonderful job and I love everyone in the office, no office politics, everyone was supportive. I have risen through the ranks from newbie to taking on some of the more advanced accounts (17 locations physician group, multiple specialties) and I was working hard learning new things and I wasn't sure I wanted to put in all of the effort to take CCS (it wouldn't make a big difference to my current job), but after all my hard work at Andrews I decided to try. Now, it has been a year since I studied inpatient, so I pulled back out my books and took mock exams. I am 60 now and I wondered why I was doing this LOL!! Well, truly I felt that the exam wasn't that bad, I passed easily and I finished with almost 45 minutes to spare with time to review. Hang in there everyone, just keep studying and you can do it!!
Truly inspirational, Janet, thank you!!!!
Congratulations Janet! I'm at the end of module 3. Reading your story encourages me to press on.

Wow, Janet. Thanks so much for sharing your story. It's definitely an encouragement to us in more ways than in just obtaining credentials. So appreciate the dedication to finish with excellence. Way to go!
