with preformatted documents and trying to copy and paste into Moodle's system. I saved my outline as an RTF. Moodle changes my document and it is really frustrating to have to reformat or retype the whole document that I had just spent hours working on...any ideas...? Thank you for your help.
Good question! Debby wrote to me to see if I knew the answer. I don't. We may have to wait until Glenda gets back on Monday unless someone just happens to know and will pop on here with the answer, which would be very welcome. :) In the meantime, I'll keep looking for an answer. Maybe Instructor Jeanne has some experience with that. I'll ask.
Hi! I had trouble uploading my Module I final and Glenda helped me. I kept getting a message that my file was too big and it wouldn't upload. Glenda worked her magic and "stripped my file" (not sure what that means), then I was able to upload it. I was using MS Word and she thought some setting may have been triggered that increased my file size. She recommended using WordPad for school files that have to be uploaded.
I am going out on a limb here and assuming that coding students see the same type of page that I see when I upload graded documents for MT students. That being said, your "copy and paste" comment makes me question if you are trying to copy and paste your work into the comment box rather than uploading the entire .rtf file. Further down the page below the comment box, there is an area where you are allowed to select a file from your computer to be downloaded into Moodle for your instructor to see, grade, etc., and that is what needs to be done so that formatting stays the same. If you need help with that, let me know here on this forum, and I can walk you through that process.

hmmmm, I'll have to look for that, Instructor Jeanne. Thank you all...glad to know I'm not alone but sorry you all are having problems too. Hopefully, we'll figure it all out. I did learn that Moodle will take some of the alt digit symbols... ☺
