For those of us with student loans from past degrees or educational pursuits, I'm wondering if our enrollment in Andrews School programs would allow us to qualify for student loan deferment.
The Department of Education has a deferment option for those "enrolled in school or a school-related activity" at "an eligible school that has been approved by the Department to participate in the Department's Federal Student Aid programs, even if the school does not participate in those programs".
After searching the forum for related topics, I found this post: Why we've chosen NOT to be on any "Approved" lists. My guess is that the Andrews School would not qualify as an "eligible school", but I wanted to post for clarification. Thought it might help others like me who are still paying off that degree.
Thanks!
No. Andrew's is not affiliated with FAFSA so you cant get a deferment based on that. However, there are other ways of getting deferments. I am unemployed and got it deferred for a year. I told them I was attending Andrew's as well.
As Remona also answered, we are not affiliated with the federal programs required for the school to be the deferment qualifier. We do not have the federal school code needed for that type of deferment.

Thanks to all for the info!
I do the Income-Based Repayment plan where they base you payments off of your income & the government pays the interest on subsidized loans. Currently, I'm not required to make payments & only my unsubsidized loans are accruing interest.
Maybe that would be an option for you.
