I actually laughed about this assignment. How is life going to get in my way? I'm in my 50's kids are raised and I have nothing but free time, but this has bit me in the butt! My husband had a major health problem once again and I had to spend time with him and the hospital, ended up he needed a pacemaker. I learned a lot, not the way I wanted to. I was there for a brain study over his seizures. I got to see the scans and talk to the tech running the test. I learned a lot! He's doing pretty good. Then we ran into a separation with our middle child, she needed a lot of help with her three kids. I finally thought things were going semi-good with all that was going on. I started to breathe, stupid me! My husband lost his job this week. So I will admit the Andrew's School prepares you for everything. I thought I had time to play around before I needed to find a job. Now I don't. I'm taking the CPC exam this Saturday and there is "NO" room for failure!
Andrew's prepares you for everything! I will pass this test and move on to the next module!
Rooting for you! :)
I'm in the same boat. I am in my 60s and just getting started with this program. My husband is in the hospital now with a blockage in his intestines. This is not the first time either. He has been in the hospital off and on for most of this year. We found out last week that he has calcium build up in most of his arteries. He also is trying to have his knees done so he can walk without a walker. My daughter just had a bunionectomy and is just now starting to go back to work. I am working part-time to try to be there for them. Yesterday I was in the hospital studying and will go back today. Life does get in the way but after we have learned just to put our heads down and meet it with strength and determination that it won't get the better of us. Good luck to you.
Stay strong, Gail! Make sure you take care of yourself so that you could take care of your husband and daughter and work on your studies. You've got this!
Best of luck and prayers for you too, Gail.
