If you were going to go somewhere for a week, where would you go?
I love Savannah, Georgia and even though I have been there several times I would go back in a heartbeat.
Some of my own favorites are:
La Jolla, California
Kauaii, in Hawaii
Greek Islands (would love to actually spend a week there, not gonna happen)
Jerusalem (spent 10 days and need many more)
New Orleans
Boston
Washington, D.C.
Well, I was only considering the United States in my answer and I was restricting myself to one city. I also love NOLA and Boston!
Oops! I did say in the United States, didn't I? I can't even follow my OWN instructions. That's bad. I'm just glad we aren't having a test on this. :)
As you might have guessed, I'm wishing for a vacation. Just dreaming, because this isn't the right time for it. I'm kind of trying to put the pieces together for when the right time does come.
I was tempted to respond to your message with some cities or areas of other countries too, but since you limited it to the US only, I refrained. Yes, I'm dreaming about a vacation too! There's so many possibilities, I don't know how I'd narrow it down to one! I'm really hoping my certifications are going to allow my family and I some future vacations though!!
I would love to go to Old Orchard Beach in Maine. It's a beautiful place. From the hotel room we could see the lighthouse at night.
I've been wanting to go to Washington DC strictly for a museum vacation for years. I also love the mountains in Wyoming and Montana. I've been dreaming of a vacation lately too, but that's not going to happen until I am happily settled into my new coding job. Can't wait! Just one more reason to keep working hard!
I am from Maine and love it. I currently live in Maryland. I would want to check out Colorado-not sure which city. Asheville, NC is on my list as is Savannah, GA. Sedona, AZ looks beautiful too! Lots of places I would love to visit-hard to pick just one.
I'm originally from CO and Denver should be on your list - so much to see and do! Lots of other great places in CO also. Hopefully will make it back someday though we are thinking about moving to Asheville so funny you should mention that.
Love Savannah also.
Jackson Hole, WY
Sedona, AZ
San Diego is on my wish list.
Headed to Boston in a few days - keep you posted.
Live near Philadelphia and would recommend it - so much to do and the best food.
I just came back from spending a week in Charleston, S.C. This was my fourth visit, and I just love it there.. of course, the fact that I get to visit with my brother who lives in Charleston is the MAIN reason I love going there, but the She-Crab soup might be a really close second reason for loving Charleston.
I know this is an older post, but wanted to add two of my favorites. I love Gettysburg, PA and Lexington, VA. I'm also a Civil War buff so I may be biased :). Hilo, HI was also a great place I visited.
