We all know about my olive oil abuse. Recently I decided to try grapeseed oil because it's supposed to be healthy as well. I bought some from Amazon and used it to fry eggs. It really didn't taste great, but maybe it was just my mood that day. The next time I used it I realized that my All-Clad griddle was almost impossible to clean. It had a gooey feel to it that I couldn't get rid of no matter how hard I scrubbed, so I got rid of the griddle.
Two days ago I was trying out a new French skillet and used some of the grapeseed oil. It still just didn't taste great like the olive oil. When I was putting it away, I FINALLY read the label.

That is too funny, Linda. I could see myself doing something like that.
You're a brave woman, Linda! To share some of the things you do, about yourself, makes us know we're all quite human and make lots of mistakes and we can still laugh at ourselves when we mess up!
I found a lot of answers and help on this website www.msgmyth.com The 'chat' board is really a forum and the answers go quite a few years back.
On the topic of olive oil, I just found out that
1 Tablespoon has 120 calories and 14 grams of fat. It may be GOOD fat but it's nevertheless, fat.
I think I had been using up my whole day's allotment of calories and fat grams with one thing, olive oil! That's one change I can easily make. I can do better than that.
hahaha thats funny!
