I'm posting this for one of our successful new graduates who has received several job offers. It's best to keep a low profile about your new jobs until you've settled in, so I'll pass her message along to all of you:
------
Keep sharing with your grads to think "outside the box" when they are applying. The recruiter told me they don't mind newbies with good training as they can then train them to do exactly what they want.

I LOVE hearing this, because you hear so many people (not Andrews graduates) on different forums saying that nobody will hire them without experience. That's simply just not true. Think outside the box. Apply even when it says that it requires experience. Test whenever anyone will allow you to test - and sometimes when they won't. After all, what can they DO, not hire you??? :)
I love hearing "successful new Andrews graduate with SEVERAL job offers" !!!
Woo-hoo!!
Thank you, Linda.
